A pleasant and comfortable hotel with excellent amenities, including a heated outdoor pool and a ground-floor fitness center offering a number of running machines and cycling machines. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, decorated in warm hues or pastel shades. Twin or double rooms (with king or queen beds) are available, as well as luxury suites complete with sitting room area and television. All rooms have a desk and standard amenities such as flat-screen televisions and high-quality bathroom products for our guests comfort and enjoyment. Balcony rooms are also an option.
For guest convenience, the hotel offers several Internet stations in its dedicated computer room, which also provides printing, photocopying and fax facilities. For greater ease, free WiFi access throughout the hotel is now available. Guests can relax and unwind at the pool both day and evening (poolside loungers are of course provided), wander through the pretty plant-lined courtyard, or alternatively head for the friendly sports bar. The dining room is airy and welcoming, with a choice of booths and tables, and is open for all mealtimes. Mouth-watering Italian and Asian cuisine is served at lunch and dinner.

From I-75 South: Take I-4 West to I-275 South to exit 40A (Westshore Blvd). When exiting turn right onto N Westshore Blvd then take your first right onto Cypress Street. The DoubleTree by Hilton Tampa Airport - Westshore is located 1/4 mile on the right hand side.
From I-275 North: Take exit 40A (Westshore Blvd). When exiting turn right onto N Westshore Blvd then take your first right onto Cypress Street. The DoubleTree by Hilton Tampa Airport - Westshore is located 1/4 mile on the right hand side.

Hotel was under renovations so we had to walk a way to get to our room - Our room was immaculate and comfortable - Enjoyed our stay for the evening!

Hotel under a great deal of renovation. My biggest complaint other than the renovation was shuttle returning to the hotel. It was not explained where I was to meet the shuttle. I thought I was told advised a baggage outside the airline (same as drop off). However, after calling to verify I was waiting I was told that was right. Then I called back after 30 minutes as I had an appointment, and was told at the end of the pick up. I walked there carrying my bags. Finally I saw a porter and he said it was the other end of the pick up, I walked there, also carrying my bags, waited over an hour. Finally, I called again, I was asked if I saw the words shuttle pick up, I told them No. I had walked to both end! Finally I saw an airport employe,she told me I had to go around the corner of the building and it was on the other side! Indeed, someone knew where it was, and it was not the hotel staff. I feel it was a communication breakdown with the employee of the hotel. I missed my meeting and had to drive 3 hours back home, disappointed and very upset. I feel, I tried very hard to not get upset and to keep asking directions...I feel Hilton dropped the ball on this service. I travel a fair amount and had never used this service before, I was hoping for a better outcome for future visits to the Tampa area.

Waited 3 hours at airport for shuttle. Hotel staff. Did not tell us where to wait for shuttle after talking to them 3times! This was our first using shuttle service....awful experience. We were told by driver it happens often! Finally picked up 8:45pm. I could have been home by that time......

Great, other than when I went back into room early morning, dark in room and I turned on bathroom light, there was a roach crawling on the wall.

Our room had a window at the top of the wall that was about 36" high. The room overlooked a roof top with a lot of hotel equipment, fans, pumps etc. Very noisy and unpleasant. We should of refused the room and asked for another one.
